Box build is probably the most misunderstood term in Contract Electronics Manufacturing. For us it covers everything from putting a PCBA in a simple enclosure and connecting it to a user interface and display, to a complete machine with tens of thousands of parts and hundreds of sub assemblies.
Sanjay Technolofies’s box build assembly and mechanical engineering capabilities are integral to our turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions. Complementing our PCB-level assembly services, Sanjay Technologies box build assembly services are part of a comprehensive array of electro-mechanical assembly, cabinet assembly and full system integration services.
Box build assembly and mechanical engineering capabilities are integral to our turnkey electronics manufacturing and we provide the right solutions involving integration of assembled boards into an enclosure or a front panel assembly with keypad display, full wire harness, connectors, and switches.
PCB Assemblies (RoHS un-leaded)
Electronics are an integral part of our daily lives. Everything from our smart phones to our cars includes electronic components. At the heart of these electronics is the printed circuit board, also known as a PCB.
Cable and Wiring Harness
A Wire Harness, also known as a cable harness or wiring assembly, is a grouping of wires, cables, or subassemblies designed to transmit signals or electrical power. A basic Wire Harness may include as few as three discreet components, while the more classic harnesses include many more wires and other passive, and potentially active, components.
The typical wire harnesses that Epec Engineered Technologies supplies include dozens of wires and sometimes hundreds of different components and terminations. Our engineering staff is well versed in the design and construction of wire harnesses and is available to assist in the development of the most efficient harness to meet your demands.
Transformer and Coil
The mechanical wire rope cable assemblies we manufacture here at Lexco Cable are used in many different industries in an almost infinite number of ways. We produced the coil assembly highlighted in this photograph for use in a retail security application.
The coil assembly was constructed from 3/32″ diameter aircraft cable in a 7 x 7 construction, which was chosen for its good balance of strength and flexibility. The wire rope featured one looped end and one stamped eyelet end.
Our comprehensive in-house capabilities allowed us to cut the cable to length, swage the ends for secure attachment of the two different fittings, 1/8” thick black PVC coating and heat shrink.
Quality assurance involved careful measurement of assembly length and swage dimensions as part of first article, in-process, and final inspections.
